I’m Julia and I am stoked to find you here. This book started out as me idly writing, having no idea it would end up here. But the year 2022 seems a good time to release because things are getting wilder here on Earth. I’ve worked with teens for over ten years, running programs to promote resilience, wellbeing and self-empowerment. Working on the philosophy that empowering others inevitably empowers ourselves.
I am so very grateful for all the young peeps I have learnt from. Creating and using techniques to build upon self-worth and gratitude is something I have become passionate about. Because it works. When one does the necessary work, it pays off.
The Feel Good Project formed naturally and cliche as it sounds, it’s the kinda thing I wished I could have read as a teen. Being a teen is mega tricky. Throw in a modern world and all its complexities and it gets trickier. Using simple neuroplasticity techniques, this stuff works. Our brain is a complex organ indeed. But knowing we can rewire it to gear towards the positive is a wonderful thing.
Though most of all, learning kindness conquers. Kindness to each other, our planet, but most of all- ourselves. Where love rules the way. And that of course starts with us.
